So the Lord must wait for you to come to him

At the Calvary Chapel I attend, there is a bigger-than-usual emphasis on prayer this summer, with prayer meetings popping up and more time spent talking about its value. Interesting that I should attend a prayer meeting Wednesday evening and have this reading this morning in my devotional. Prayer is a powerful thing!
